EXPERIENCED: EgyptSwiss has been involved in the development and sale of property in Hurghada since 2009. The company currently has 4 completed buildings and another 4 in developments. Many of the units have sold within 3 months due to the previous investor success.

Buying Property in Egypt

Direct from EgytpSwiss the majority of our apartments are sold turnkey (unfurnished with ready bathroom and all plumbing/space for air conditioning units). We also offer a variety of resale apartments that come furnished. There’s always a lot of flexibility in this area, so you may be able to negotiate for the apartment you want without furnishings if it’s furnished, and for unfurnished one’s we have an in house interior design team to help you secure brand new, or second hand, or customer made furnishings.

YES! We love showing you around – come and see one, come and see 20. We are happy to take you around as many properties as you are interested and will also show you other that we think you may like based on your reactions. We enjoy this part of our job the best – showing of this great city is a big part of showing you the apartments so if you’re brand new to the area then don’t panic because we will go the extra mile to ensure you are buying not just the right apartment… but in the perfect location, location, location!

We would 100% recommend using a lawyer. No questions asked! As a client of ours you have use of our embassy recommended lawyer free of charge however we are more than happy working with an independent lawyer of your choosing. In all cases the contracts will be drawn up (according to the law) in Arabic and one other language. It’s so important to know what you are signing so don’t accept anything less.

No. The only documents needed to buy an apartment are a tourist visa (valid for 30 days) and a valid passport. But if you do need or want to stay longer than a visa extension is not hard to obtain.

Nothing can replace actually visiting a property, whether off plan or not. For the majority of our properties we offer… we are the actual developer so you can 100% trust that we have been to the property in person. In fact as the developer and exclusive sellers we have watched and nurtured most of these properties before a single brick was laid!

For the properties where we are simply the agent we visit these properties regularly to check all is in order; this is made possible because our staff are actually on the ground here in Egypt. We are a highly motivated team and will walk you through everything step by step, including tours of the area to show you what else is out there.

Legal Information

Foreigners have the right to purchase and own property in Egypt under Law No 230 of 1996. According to this a foreigner can buy 2 properties in Egypt with a total area not exceeding 4,000 square meters.

Renting in Egypt

YES! EgyptSwiss has years of experience with renting apartments and we are happy to help you with this. We can offer to market and choose your clients, keep the apartment clean and let you know if anything needs work; we can also source and add any extra furniture, utensils and the like if you don’t have the time. It’s fairly simple to set up, you being the owners give us authorization to represent you with regarding to renting your apartment, and also to secure any deposits and collect the rent.
